Lalbagh Fort

Ahsan Manzil

Ahsan Manzil is situated at Kumartuli in the Old Dhaka along the bank of the Buriganga river. It was the residential palace of the Nawab of Dhaka. This significant architectural monument was built by Nawab Abdul Gani and named it after his son Khawaza Ahsanullah. In 1859, the construction of this palace was started and was completed in 1872. Liberation War Museum

National Parliament House

The house of the parliament of Bangladesh is located in the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital city Dhaka. American Church

History says that in the 17th and 18th century there was the presence of Americans in Dhaka. They established their own community there in the era of Mughal. University of Dhaka

The University of Dhaka was established in 1921 during the British rule in Bangladesh, which is the oldest university in Bangladesh.
